If you love the dales and all creatures great and small, this is an idyllic destination. Ample 🅿️ and disabled spaces, toilets with honesty boxes, nice little shop. A short walk takes you into the village, the shops are simply like stepping back in time with James Herriot and Gang, The Drovers arms is just lovely and the atmosphere and village is full of pride and outed quintessentially English. Well worth a visit

Grassington is such a beautiful place to visit on any day but especially when the sun is shining. Plenty of space to relax by the river and have a swim but it does get very busy on the warm summer days so better to get there nice and early. It's easy to park in the main car park and walk down to the river bank - reasonable full day parking price and have toilets and a visitor information too which is helpful.

Our Walking Group enjoyed a lovely 13 miles walk from Cracow to Grassington all finished off with a Beer at The Black Bull. Definitely returning!

Lovely little Dale's village where they filmed some of the latest "All Creatures Great and Small" It was a lovely drive to get there climbing over the Dale's through Herriot Country.

A great place. Lovely little town around the Dale's and plenty of walking area. The waterfall is gorgeous. The visitors centre was super helpful .. First visit here and I was given a map of the area and a magazine with information of all events on within the year and what a lovely little shop /gift shop it is. Was not the best weather for my visit but none the less still beautiful and a great wander taking in the sights of just one little path of the Yorkshire Dales!

Really nice, picturesque village in the heart of fantastic Yorkshire.
Plenty of eateries and drinking available.
The chocolate brownie shop in the centre of Grassington is amazing!! As they say award winning and I can certainly believe it.
Well worth a visit but arrive early as it is very touristy and busy, especially on a nice day
